Welcome to our parish website. We are a very friendly Anglican church in the heart of this north coast communities of Castlerock and Articlave. As a church we want to be part of building God’s Kingdom though our words and actions and are delighted to welcome new faces to our congregation whether as a visitor or someone who is exploring been part of our church.

Christ Church, Castlerock

Christ Church, Castlerock was built in the year 1870. The architect was Frederick William Porter. The contractors were George and Robert Ferguson, and the work was supervised by William Hunter. Porter was a London architect who built for the Clothworker’s Company. Of all his churches this is the most distinguished design.

St. Paul’s Dunboe, Articlave

The Church of St. Paul is situated in Articlave, which is about one mile to the east of Castlerock. Within the parish and within walking distance from Castlerock are the beautiful grounds and walks around Downhill Castle and the Mussenden Temple. Downhill Castle is famous, for the Earl of Bristol who was then bishop of Derry built it.

Church of Ascension, Fermoyle

The Church of the Ascension, Fermoyle is situated in a very peaceful place and stands on high ground not far from the Giant’s Sconce, commanding a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. In good weather the historic hill of Slemish can clearly be seen, recalling, as it does, the captivity of St. Patrick.
